The client connects over HTTP and authorisation goes through Cloudflare's own OAuth flow, so there is nothing to install locally. From a single session an agent can list and create R2 buckets, read and write KV pairs, run queries against D1 and inspect Hyperdrive configuration. It is one of many servers in Cloudflare's MCP repository; this one covers the resources a Worker actually binds to.
