Choosing a plan
- Free access has limited usage.
- Pro is USD 20 per month with monthly billing, or USD 200 per year.
- Usage allowances and the amount of context in a conversation are separate limits.
Model access and context size depend on the plan and selected model; there is no single 200K-token limit for every Claude experience. For document-heavy work, check context capacity. For repeated coding sessions, check the usage allowance and how Claude Code shares it with other Claude surfaces.
