Dash indexes the content a company has connected — Dropbox itself plus other linked apps — and this server hands that index to a model as a search tool. Authentication runs through a Dropbox app you register yourself, with the token kept in the system keyring. Access is read-only: it returns result lists, file metadata and short content snippets, and writes nothing back.
