Instead of guessing spacing and colour from a flat picture, a coding agent reads the selected frame directly. The server returns structured design context, the variable and token definitions behind a component, node metadata, and a rendered screenshot when a visual reference helps. It is available from the Figma desktop app as a local endpoint and as a hosted one at mcp.figma.com, both over streamable HTTP.
