Rather than reading a save file, this server joins the game as a real client through the Mineflayer protocol library and exposes the character's abilities as tools: walk or fly to coordinates, look at a point, list and equip inventory items, place and dig blocks, and act on nearby entities. That makes it an unusually direct test bed for embodied agent behaviour — the world enforces physics and reachability, so a plan that ignores them simply fails. Setup is deliberately local: open a singleplayer world to LAN and the bot connects to localhost on the default port. Version coupling is the catch, since the protocol layer targets a specific Minecraft release and newer clients may not connect until support lands.
