The design choice that separates this from a one-call weather tool is that each national model gets its own tool instead of being blended into a single answer. DWD ICON, NOAA GFS, Météo-France, ECMWF, JMA, MET Norway and Environment Canada GEM are addressable individually, so an agent can put three forecasts for the same point side by side and notice when they disagree — and ensemble_forecast makes that disagreement explicit by returning the spread across model runs rather than one number. Beyond the forecast there is a reanalysis archive going back to 1940, air quality with pollen and both AQI scales, marine wave data, elevation, river discharge from GloFAS and CMIP6 climate projections. No API key: Open-Meteo is free for this usage.
