This is a remote server run by Plaid at api.dashboard.plaid.com, reached over Streamable HTTP rather than a local process. Its tools answer operational questions: why a specific Item is failing, how Link is converting, what the account has consumed so far, and which teams exist. Access uses an OAuth client-credentials token scoped to the dashboard, and those tokens are short-lived by design. Plaid also ships a separate stdio server in its AI coding toolkit for sandbox data and documentation search.
