Container tooling on a developer machine is rarely uniform: some people run Docker Desktop, some run rootless Podman, and a server may have only one of the two sockets. This server talks to whichever runtime is present behind the same thirteen tools, covering container lifecycle — run, list, inspect, logs, stop, remove — image work including build, pull, push and remove, and read access to networks and volumes. It is written in Go and distributed as a native binary with npm and PyPI wrappers, so no language runtime is required. A single flag switches the output of list commands between a human-readable table and JSON, and another starts it in HTTP mode with streamable and SSE endpoints.
