Shortcut organises work as stories inside epics and iterations, and its search syntax is expressive enough that most useful questions are one query away. The official server exposes that search along with reading and creating stories, updating state and owners, and inspecting epics, iterations and teams. Asking what is unfinished in the current iteration is the request it answers best, because the tracker already models that concept directly.
