Vercel runs its MCP server at mcp.vercel.com, so nothing is installed locally: the client connects over Streamable HTTP and the first connection opens a browser for OAuth consent. Tools cover documentation search plus project, deployment and log inspection, scoped to the teams the signed-in account can already reach. Vercel separately publishes mcp-handler, an Apache-2.0 adapter for serving your own MCP server from a Next.js, Nuxt, SvelteKit or Hono route.
