The server wraps the yfinance library, so it needs no account and no key, which makes it the cheapest way to put market context in front of a model. Its nine tools stay deliberately narrow: historical OHLCV over a chosen period and interval, a broad company info payload, recent news, dividend and split history, annual or quarterly income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, holder information covering institutions, mutual funds and insider transactions, and analyst recommendations with upgrade and downgrade history. Options are split in two on purpose, one tool listing expiration dates and another fetching a single chain for a given date and side, which stops one call from returning a volume of contracts no context window can absorb. It runs straight from the repository with uvx.
