Browser to API turns a previously recorded browser session into practical material for exploring an undocumented web interface. The agent processes network events, groups related requests, recognizes changing URL segments, and derives endpoint shapes from the available examples. Its results can support integration experiments without claiming that the observed traffic represents the service’s complete contract.
Highlights
- Produces OpenAPI 3.1 output in YAML and JSON formats
- Builds a self-contained HTML report for reviewing detected operations
- Generates a dependency-free JavaScript client based on observed endpoints
- Infers request and response structures when suitable body samples exist
- Filters common analytics, session, page-rendering, and bot-protection traffic
The skill is useful for developers, SDK authors, automation engineers, and agent builders who already have a compatible Browser Trace capture. Broader user journeys generally yield a more representative result, while confidence metadata helps identify uncertain deductions. It requires Node.js 18 or newer and relies on the sibling Browser Trace skill for collection. Install it from the Browserbase skills repository with the Skills CLI.
