MCP Apps extend a server beyond returning text: a tool can present an interface the user interacts with, and the result flows back into the conversation. Building one means understanding how the surface is declared, how state moves between host and app, and what the client is allowed to render. These skills cover that ground for the current SDK, which matters because the specification is still moving.
