The surface is deliberately small. search_model answers which services a CAP project serves, which entities exist and how they relate, so the agent stops grepping .cds files and mis-reading includes and aspects; search_docs covers the CAP documentation for the Node.js and Java APIs and the cds CLI. What makes it stick is the pair of rules SAP asks you to paste into AGENTS.md: look definitions up through the server first and read .cds files only if that fails, and check the docs before proposing any CDS or API change at all. The same package doubles as a command-line tool, so the identical queries can be run and compared outside an agent session while debugging a model.
