Shippo aggregates USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL and dozens of regional carriers behind one API, and the plugin turns a shipment into a short sequence: validate the addresses, create a shipment to get rates, choose one, buy the label, then track it. Two details in the reference material remove most of the debugging — parcel dimensions and weights have to be sent as strings rather than numbers, and buying a label means passing the chosen rate's identifier back rather than resending the addresses and parcel. Rates expire, and the same carrier can return duplicate quotes from several linked accounts, so the skill collapses those before presenting the options.
