Anytype keeps an encrypted local graph rather than a cloud document store, and this server reaches it the same way the app's own clients do: over the loopback API on port 31009, with a key the user creates inside App Settings. The tool surface is generated from Anytype's OpenAPI description, so it tracks the API rather than a hand-maintained wrapper — search across spaces, read and write objects, manage types, templates, properties and tags, work with lists and collections. Because the endpoint is local, the vault never leaves the machine; what reaches the model is only what a tool call returns.
