The hosted server exposes a curated set of CI actions: listing pipeline runs and workflows, reading job logs when a build fails, checking test results and artifacts, rerunning or cancelling a workflow, and exporting usage data. Everyone points at one HTTPS URL, so access is managed centrally instead of copying personal tokens onto laptops. Clients authenticate with OAuth2 or a personal API token. The older npx-installed local server is deprecated and should be removed before connecting.
