There is no package to install: Dart 3.9 and later start the server with dart mcp-server, which is why the setup instructions are a client config block and nothing else. The static half is available immediately — run the analyzer and apply fixes, resolve a symbol to its documentation and signature, format with the project's rules, search pub.dev and edit pubspec.yaml, run tests, trigger a hot reload. The runtime half is the part that needs preparation: inspecting the widget tree, taking screenshots and tapping through a live app go through flutter_driver_command, which requires the app to be built with the flutter_driver extension enabled. Clients that support MCP roots get the best experience, and a fallback flag exists for those that only claim to.
