Monarch Money MCP Server

Monarch aggregates bank, card and investment accounts in one place, and the server reads accounts, balance history, holdings, transactions, categories, budgets and cash flow while also writing transactions, tags and categorisation rules including bulk recategorisation. Authentication deliberately happens outside the model, in a separate setup script: the recommended path copies session cookies out of a logged-in browser, which keeps single sign-on accounts working and sidesteps the Cloudflare challenge that blocks programmatic logins, and multi-factor authentication is supported on the other paths. A check_auth_status tool exists so a session can be verified before anything else is attempted, which saves a run of confusing empty results. It builds on a community-maintained fork of the Monarch Money Python client.
