Office file handling in agents usually means either a conversion service or a Python library chain with a long dependency tail. This is a single compiled binary installed with cargo, running over stdio, doing the work on the machine. The interesting part is PDF forms, which are three different problems wearing the same extension: an AcroForm has real field objects, an XFA form carries its own XML layer, and a scanned form has no fields at all and has to be filled by coordinate placement. The server covers all three, which is what makes it usable against the bureaucratic forms it was written for. Spreadsheets, documents and decks are generated as well as read, so output is a real file rather than a description of one.
