Deals, persons, organizations, pipelines, stages, leads and item search run on Pipedrive API v2, while notes and users sit behind clearly labelled v1 adapters because Pipedrive has not moved those endpoints yet. That separation matters when a model reasons about response shapes: the two API generations return different envelopes and the server does not pretend otherwise. Nothing writes by default, and the two write tools that can be enabled show a preview before committing. It speaks stdio or streamable HTTP, and binding the HTTP listener to anything other than loopback is refused unless a thirty-two character HS256 secret and a hostname allowlist are both supplied.
