Systems Tool Kit is the standard tool for orbit and mission analysis, and it is a licensed desktop or engine install rather than an API, so this server bridges to a local installation instead of a remote service. It runs in two modes: STK Engine, headless on Windows or Linux, and STK Desktop, which is auto-disabled when the host is not Windows so a Linux user cannot select a mode that cannot work. The lifecycle is tied to the server — the STK instance starts and stops with it, which avoids the orphaned COM sessions that plague scripted STK automation. Built on FastMCP with a Typer CLI, so list-tools enumerates the exposed tools before a client is wired up. Needs STK 12.x plus the agi.stk12 Python wheel that ships inside the installation.
