Search across assets is semantic rather than literal, lineage can be traversed in both directions, and governance work covers glossaries, terms, certifications, data quality rules and data mesh domains and products. The important operational fact is which server you talk to: the locally installable MCP server in this repository is deprecated and in maintenance-only mode, and the supported path is the hosted endpoint reached through OAuth, so nobody has to mint and circulate an API key for a catalog that already knows who the user is. Of the fifteen tools the plugin exposes, twelve are on by default and three sit behind feature flags.
