The plugin attaches a remote JFrog server at the platform URL over OAuth, so no API key sits in a configuration file, and adds skills for Artifactory repositories, builds, permissions, release bundles and Advanced Security exposure queries. The notable piece is agent package resolution: a session hook rewrites package manager configuration so npm, Maven, PyPI and Go installs performed by the agent go through the organisation's remote caches instead of the public registry — an agent quietly pulling straight from a public index is outside Curation and Xray whether or not anyone notices. Agent Guard covers the other direction, installing and authenticating servers only from the catalog approved for the project. It expects the jf CLI, jq and curl on the path.
