The premise is that the same engine runs on a laptop, so schema work, migrations, tests and CI can happen before an Azure subscription exists, and moving to the cloud becomes a connection string change rather than a code change. Seventeen skills cover starting the container, connecting, scaffolding a schema, migrating from SQL Server, seeding, Data API builder, testing, CI and the local-to-cloud step, plus a retrieval path over the native vector type and VECTOR_DISTANCE. Each skill carries version-pinned reference files and can optionally reach the public Microsoft Learn MCP for current documentation. The image sits in a private registry and needs preview access.
