A request is first sized as a quick feasibility probe, a scoped change to existing code, or architectural work, and the weight of the process follows from that answer. Questions are asked one at a time, options are weighed against each other, and nothing moves forward without an explicit approval. When hidden complexity shows up mid-conversation the skill escalates rather than pushing on, and architectural decisions end up written down as a spec.
