Catalog work splits into search, lineage tracing, impact analysis, quality assertions and metadata enrichment, plus connector planning and connector pull-request review for people extending DataHub itself. Two choices stand out. Enrichment never writes silently: it renders a before-and-after plan and waits for approval, because tags, ownership and deprecation flags are read by downstream governance and a wrong bulk edit is expensive to unpick. And an evals skill answers each saved question in a fresh agent with the DataHub tools attached, so a regression in catalog answers is measured rather than guessed. The quality skill separates open-source diagnostics from Cloud-only management.
