Local AI Use helps an agent shift selected media workloads from hosted services to a Lemonade Server running on the same computer. Text reasoning remains with the agent’s configured model, while image creation, text-to-speech, and speech recognition are handled locally. The configuration persists in the workspace, so later requests can follow the same route without repeating setup.
Highlights
- Prepares Lemonade Server and checks whether its background service is available.
- Adds a reusable workspace policy for local image, voice, and transcription requests.
- Provides selectable defaults for image, TTS, and STT models.
- Downloads models only when their corresponding capability is first needed.
- Includes diagnostics for installation conflicts, storage problems, authentication, media formats, and hardware acceleration.
This skill is aimed at developers and advanced users who value privacy, offline availability, or reduced dependence on metered media APIs. It supports common agent environments and includes executable setup helpers plus reference material. Installation is available through the AMD skills repository using the skills CLI, after which the bundled setup script completes the local configuration.
