Amazon's working-backwards move run as a drafting session: who the customer is, what changes for them on launch day, the headline benefit, and an internal point of view worth quoting. Two of those cannot be faked, which is the whole mechanism — if the announcement reads flat, the idea was flat. What you end up with is a one-page document stakeholders can argue over before a line of code exists.
