Superdesign gives a coding agent somewhere to think visually. Running superdesign init reads the repository and writes reusable UI context into .superdesign/init/, so the first draft starts from the project's existing components and tokens rather than generic defaults. Drafts land on an infinite canvas and branch off each other, which is what makes comparison practical: list-models lets several models attempt the same screen side by side, and whichever reads best gets refined. Beyond product UI it covers design systems, connected multi-page flows, slide decks and marketing graphics, and it can extract a design language from a live URL and apply it. The skill is maintained by the Superdesign team and installs the same way into Claude Code, Cursor and Codex.
