The plugin puts the Zilliz Cloud console behind ordinary sentences — create a serverless cluster in a region, define a collection with a given vector dimension, set a seven-day backup policy, import from S3, check the job. Two details make it more than a wrapper. It ships as a dual-format plugin whose Claude Code and Codex manifests point at one real skills directory, so there are no symlinks and no duplicated copy to drift. And its README documents the upgrade trap directly: adding a marketplace does not refresh one already added and installing is a no-op when the plugin is present, so a new version needs a marketplace update followed by a plugin update.
