Box hosts an MCP server at mcp.box.com covering search, file and folder operations, metadata, shared links and Box AI queries. Authorization runs through OAuth, so an agent sees only the content the signed-in account can already open. The earlier community-maintained Python server, box-community/mcp-server-box, has been archived and is no longer the recommended path.
