Canvas exposes over a thousand API endpoints and a flat mapping of them is unusable for an agent, so this server groups tools by who is asking. A student profile answers what is due, what is missing and what the current grades are; an instructor profile lists submissions, grades in bulk, posts announcements and builds modules. The default profile registers a subset and feature gates raise the total to 101. It runs locally over stdio and calls Canvas with the user's own API token, which means the agent inherits exactly that token's permissions and nothing more — the sensible boundary when the same tool can read a whole class roster. Self-hosting behind institutional authentication over streamable HTTP is supported separately. Needs CANVAS_API_TOKEN and CANVAS_API_URL.
