CCXT already normalises the differences between exchange APIs, and this server exposes that normalised surface over MCP so a model asks for a ticker or an order book without knowing whose endpoint answers. Spot, futures and swap markets are covered and tool names stay identical across venues, among them get-ticker, get-order-book, get-ohlcv, place-limit-order, place-futures-market-order, get-positions, set-leverage and transfer-funds. Credentials live per exchange in environment variables, and a default exchange plus default market type can be set once so ordinary calls stay short. The server keeps its own cache and rate limiter and exposes cache-stats and clear-cache as tools, which is the honest way to work with venues that ban clients for polling too hard.
