Daytona provisions isolated environments in well under a second and keeps them addressable, so an agent can create a sandbox, upload or clone a repository, run builds and tests, expose a preview URL, and delete it afterwards. Compared with running everything locally, the useful property is parallelism — several attempts at the same fix can run in separate sandboxes without fighting over the same working tree or port.
