E2B provides short-lived Firecracker microVMs designed for running untrusted, model-generated code. Through MCP an agent gets a sandbox where it can execute shell commands and Python, install packages, and read back stdout, stderr and generated files. The isolation is the product: a script that deletes the wrong directory takes down a disposable VM rather than a working tree, which changes how freely an agent can be allowed to experiment.
