RIS is the Austrian government's own legal information system, published as open government data, which is why this server needs no key and no account. Twelve tools cover the collections that matter in practice: federal statutes such as the ABGB and StGB, the separate state law of all nine provinces, decisions from sixteen court types including the Supreme and Constitutional Courts, federal and state law gazettes, government bills and ministerial decrees. Full documents are retrieved by prefix-based routing, so a bare identifier like NOR40052761 resolves without the caller knowing which collection it lives in. Results come back as Markdown or JSON. It surfaces the official text; reading it as advice is the user's own step.
