AWS Transform is a managed modernisation service, and this plugin is the agent-side workflow around it rather than a rewrite engine of its own: assess the codebase, plan, submit the transformation, then validate what comes back. The job types are the awkward ones — .NET Framework to .NET 8 or 10, mainframe COBOL to Java, VMware machines to EC2, SQL Server and Oracle to Aurora, plus language and SDK version bumps. Human-in-the-loop tasks are first class in the tool surface, which matters because these jobs stop and ask rather than running unattended to completion.
