Aurora DSQL is PostgreSQL-compatible but not PostgreSQL-shaped, and the gaps are the whole subject of this plugin. There are no foreign keys, so the guidance generates the referential checks at the application layer instead; writes run under optimistic concurrency, so retry handling stops being optional; DDL and transactions carry limits that a schema copied straight from RDS will violate. Coverage includes conversion from MySQL and PostgreSQL, ORM-specific migration for Django, EF Core, Hibernate and Rails, IAM-to-database role mapping, bulk loading, and query plan diagnostics through CloudWatch.
