Figma ships this guide alongside its remote MCP server, and the notable part is an ordering rule: the design-to-code skill declares itself a mandatory prerequisite, so it has to run before get_design_context is ever called. That exists because pulling raw design context without instructions produces markup that ignores the target stack; the skill sets out how frames, components and variables should land on code that already exists. A dozen or so skills cover the other directions too — writing back to the canvas, generating libraries and diagrams, Code Connect mappings, SwiftUI output, FigJam, Slides and motion. Read quotas are worth planning around: Starter plans and view or collaboration seats are capped at six tool calls per month, while Dev and Full seats get per-minute limits.
