The consumption skill browses models, explores, dimensions, measures and filters, runs looks and dashboards, and can hand back an embed URL. The development skill is the more unusual half: it drives Looker's own Git integration, creating, switching and deleting branches, entering dev mode, reading and writing project files, then validating the project and running LookML tests. That is the same branch and validate loop a LookML developer follows by hand, which keeps agent edits out of production until they pass. It also exposes the health commands, pulse, analyze and vacuum. Worth noting: the three LOOKER_SHOW_HIDDEN settings default to true, so models, explores and fields hidden in the interface are visible to the agent unless you turn them off.
