The first skill carries the working knowledge an agent needs across auth, storage, edge functions and the client libraries, with the detail kept in reference files rather than one long document. The second stays on Postgres itself: indexing, query shape, row level security and the schema decisions that get expensive later. Keeping them apart matters because Postgres advice applies whether or not the project is hosted on Supabase. The files are generated from Supabase's own skills repository and synced into the plugin on release.
