Each skill is scoped to a question an on-call engineer actually asks, and each one names the telemetry it depends on rather than failing halfway through a query. Cost analysis only works where Cloud Cost Intelligence data has been ingested; the Kubernetes skill assumes kube-state-metrics is reporting, and it is written around specific failure shapes — CrashLoopBackOff, OOMKills, evictions, node pressure — instead of generic cluster advice. The APM skill splits errors from latency into separate reference files so the model reads one of them, not both. Connection is to New Relic's hosted MCP endpoint over OAuth, so no local server process is involved.
